Meet Our President & CEO: Tyson Smith

Tyson, is the visionary founder and President/CEO of (THK Worldwide Incorporated), a Baltimore-based nonprofit committed to empowering underserved communities through education, advocacy, and youth development. With over six years of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and program innovation, Tyson has built a reputation for turning bold ideas into sustainable impact.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Tyson’s mission is deeply personal. His journey from grassroots organizing to executive leadership reflects his belief that every young person deserves access to opportunity, mentorship, and a pathway to thrive. Under his leadership, THK Worldwide has launched successful initiatives focused on academic enrichment, community outreach, violence prevention, and leadership training across Maryland. Tyson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a background in Science from Loyola University-Chicago and a Master’s degree in Public Administration.

Tyson is a passionate speaker, collaborator, and advocate for equity. Known for his dynamic vision and hands-on leadership, Tyson is a frequent keynote speaker and community advocate, committed to uplifting underserved neighborhoods and creating real pathways to success. His guiding belief:

Meet Our Vice President, Kevin Perry lll

Kevin, serves as the Vice President of THK Worldwide Incorporated, where he plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission to empower youth, strengthen communities, and create pathways to opportunity across Baltimore and beyond.

A native of Baltimore with deep roots in community service, Kevin brings over seven years of experience in youth development, nonprofit operations, and strategic outreach. Also, has multiple residential/managerial positions in the DDA community assisting adults with quality of care and quality of life working alongside DDA and MDH. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from HBCU Delaware State University and has led multiple grassroots initiatives focused on mentorship, restorative practices, and workforce readiness.

At THK Worldwide, Kevin oversees program implementation, community partnerships, and leadership development efforts. His collaborative approach and passion for equity have helped grow THK’s reach and impact especially in underserved neighborhoods.

Kevin is known for his ability to connect with young people, build strong coalitions, and turn vision into action. His leadership is driven by a belief that
